A sidewalk or walkway is a small project with an outsized impact — it’s the first thing guests walk on and, done wrong, the first thing that heaves, cracks and becomes a trip hazard. We pour walkways that stay level and drain properly, from front-entry approaches to paths that connect a driveway to a patio or garden.
Walkway options
- Broom-finish concrete paths and approaches
- Stamped or decorative walkways to match your patio
- Concrete steps and stoops with safe, consistent risers
- ADA-friendly grading where needed
Why walkways heave — and how we stop it
Thin, un-based walkways poured straight on our clay are the ones that lift and crack after a couple of freeze-thaw winters. We prep a compacted base, pour at the right thickness, and joint properly so your path stays flat and safe.
What it costs
Concrete walkways and steps are priced by the project, not a flat per-square-foot rate — width, length, finish (broom, troweled, stamped or stained), steps and site access all change the number. We give itemized estimates after seeing the path.
